Porsche
Centre
Geneva

Centre Porsche Genève, the Geneva Porsche Centre, is located less than a kilometre from Geneva Airport in Switzerland. This luxury car centre was substantially extended in 2019 and the roof now offers an enlarged and safe space to park the luxury cars.

The Geneva Porsche Centre in Grand-Saconnex was expanded exactly 70 years after Porsche was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. The architects of Atelier d’architecture Jacques Bugna, renowned for their landmark designs, such as for instance the headquarters of the Swiss Swisscom TV channel, designed the plan for doubling the current size of the garage and building a special workshop for the brand’s car collection, as well as a classic showroom to exhibit them.

ROOFTOP SPACE

The design also features space to park cars on the roof, connecting to the building’s existing rooftop parking area. The architects contacted Zoontjens for the construction of the rooftop car park. Their decision to go for Pardak®110 was partly inspired by some excellent references featuring rooftop parking near Geneva, such as Galerie Lafayette and CERN.

METICULOUS COORDINATION

In collaboration with the Cerutti roofing company and subcontractor SES, a total of 688 square metres of Pardak®110 was installed on top of the new building. The actual location was far from ideal for unloading materials and required the construction activities and logistics to be meticulously coordinated. All in all, the project was delivered to the client’s full satisfaction. And against the backdrop of the distant mountains, this was a special place to work!
